• Doctor of Medicine (Honoris Causa) Medicinae Doctorem: Riga Stradins University, Latvia, 2014. For "substantial contribution in the establishment of the art therapy study programme in Latvia and launching of the study programme at the Rīga Stradiņš University in 2006."

• Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling (QUB) - included supervised counselling & art therapy practice. Queen's University Belfast.
